North Coast Choral Artists
The North Coast Choral Artists is a new project designed for experienced choral singers in Humboldt County. Created by Dr. Rachel Samet, Director of Choirs at Humboldt State University, this project will provide singers in Humboldt a venue in which to rehearse and perform high quality choral music in an intensive two week period during the month of June. Singers will rehearse Monday through Thursday for the first two weeks of June and then give a public performance. All rehearsals and performances will take place at Christ Episcopal Church in Eureka. North Coast Choral Artists is open to singers of all ages. Due to the short rehearsal period and the level of music being performed, it is necessary that singers have prior choral experience, and it is highly recommended that participants know how to read music, otherwise they might struggle with the accelerated pace of rehearsals. We hope that North Coast Choral Artists will help build and further energize the singing community in Humboldt.
Rehearsals: June 3-6 and 10-13, 7:00-9:45 PM
Performance: Saturday, June 15
