Edilith Eckart & Jene McCovey Scholarship
Applications for the Edilith Eckart and Jene McCovey Memorial Peace Scholarship are now open, until April 1.
Grants support projects that promote peace and social justice, locally or globally and range from $150-$500. WILPF started the Scholarship two decades ago inspired by the peace activist Edilith Eckart. Some former recipients are Kunle Community, Rio Dell Community Resource Center, Centro Del Pueblo, Cumbre Humboldt, and Humboldt Mediation.

The Edilith Eckart & Jene McCovey Scholarship encourages local individuals and groups in projects that create or increase peace and justice, locally to globally. We give an annual grant of up to $500 to women, individuals, or groups. We encourage projects that address gender, racial, and economic inequities, and/or environmental and social justice, and where the people impacted help make the decisions.
