Creekside Arts is designed and created to bring together artistic residencies, workshops and performances. Our goal is to create an environment in which creative artists and audiences interact in a positive and structured way to learn from and inform each other and then bring that learning into the larger Humboldt community. To that end Creekside Arts is committed to equity and welcomes people from diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences.

Creekside Arts Spring 2026 Residency

We welcome artists from a wide range of creative disciplines: painters, illustrators, sculptors, photographers, writers, poets, dancers, performers, installation artists, fiber artists. Creatives of all types are encouraged to apply.

We seek artists who are caring and compassionate, just and equitable, and who aspire to a life of peace, sustainable in the long term to all living creatures. We are asking our artists to come work on their projects in full respect of Creekside Arts' mission: to create an environment in which creative artists and audiences interact in a positive and structured way to learn from and inform each other and then bring that learning into the larger Humboldt community.

Three-week residency from May 22 to June 16, 2026.

Deadline to submit application: February 15. Be sure to submit the form application and pay the application fee.

Cost: FREE after $25 application fee. Travel and food not included.

Call for Fiber Artists: The Libby Palmquist Fiber Arts Sponsorship,

Creekside Arts is very excited to offer The Libby Palmquist Fiber Arts Sponsorship, for the second year in a row.

This sponsorship will support the full residency fee for one fiber artist plus $1500 stipend to cover travel, food and supplies for the Creekside Arts Spring 2026 Residency Program.
